One of my favorite holiday recipes
Berry Trifle

1 pound cake (frozen Sara Lee) cubed into 1" pieces
2 (16 oz) bags frozen mixed berries (raspberry, strawberry, blueberry)
1 (5 oz) vanilla pudding (use the powder to make the custard)
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 small container of cool whip
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup milk

*Mix: pudding, milk, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and 1 cup of cool whip together

**Layer 1/2 of the pound cake followed by 1/2 of the berries and then 1/2 of the custard. Repeat the three layers. Top with remaining cool whip.

***Refrigerate long enough for the fruit to thaw. You can substitute any fruits, angel food cake, or even a liquor for the vanilla.

Makes a wonderfully tasty dessert! Hope you enjoy!!!
